Logistics Supervisor

As the Logistics Supervisor, you will: 

• Supervise various locations in the Logistics Department including Receiving, Storing, Picking, Order filling and Shipping, loading and unloading material, systems related grief resolution, storage of material and the preservation.
• Supervising hourly personnel to ensure completion of assignments in a timely, effective and efficient manner.
• Drive team to identify continuous improvement ideas and engage support functions to implement the same.
• Collaborate with related function to identify improvement opportunities for supplier supplied parts preservation.
• Ensuring components/goods are received, packaged, stored and Issued in an efficient, safe, high quality, right quantity and timely manner.
• Manage pocking & shipping activity to ensure timely finish goods shipment with correct documentation, packaging and appropriate preservation method applied.
• Ensuring an effective work force by assigning, directing, motivating employees and responsible for their performance as well.
• Enforcing company policies and procedures while abiding by the company’s contract.
• Investigate root causes and perform corrective action to resolve the problems identified related on people/safety, quality, velocity and cost (PQVC).
• Responsible to support and achieve 100% Supply Chain initiatives – Logistics PQVC (People Quality Velocity Cost) targets through implementation various initiatives such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Internal Certification, etc.

The successful candidate must bring:

• Proficient in English
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management
• At least 5 (Five) years of job experience in Logistics/Warehousing and having knowledge of various Logistics operation and Warehouse management systems.
• At least 3 years in a people leadership role with strong people management qualities.
• A working knowledge or experience of ERP system such as SAP.

Logistics Manager

As the Logistics Manager, you will:

• Optimizing transportation, providing on-site material logistics functions, managing 3PL’s, and driving improvements in point of use availability.
• Manages inventory levels and the daily operations in the major tools and supplies disbursement and tool grinding cribs. Coordination of inbound material control, carrier collaboration, establishing milk runs, coordinating third party logistics services, plant site material logistics, and managing supermarkets and kitting processes. You will be responsible for optimizing material flow throughout the plant site, ensuring availability of needed resources, to include operating personnel and material handling equipment, always working to eliminate traffic bottlenecks.
• Provides management for the development and implementation of cost-effective material handling plans, including purchased logistics services, and material handling equipment. This involves providing tactical plans, machines and equipment, and facilities to support long range process improvement plans and daily operations. 
• Responsible for multiple shift operation and sets general policy including schedules to be followed on all three shifts, servicing production area needs in off shift hours.
• You will be challenge is to implement cost effective projects within acceptable parameters for schedule, budget, cost reduction and return on investment while providing uninterrupted, quality service to customers. 
• You will be challenged to achieve PQVC targets across Safety, POU Availability, Record Accuracy and MRDR Processing. 
• Works closely with Purchasing, Material Requirements, Manufacturing, Factory Engineering, Transportation, suppliers and other areas to ensure customer needs are met utilizing least total cost alternatives.
• Manages a work unit of management, salaried, and hourly employees where planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reviewing work of subordinates is required. The position is responsible for all personnel issues and performance evaluation of subordinates.

The successful candidate must bring:

• Excellent English written/oral communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• College or university degree related to Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible in logistics, supply chain or transportation management and supervisory experience.
• Sound knowledge in SAP system and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge and understanding of 6 Sigma Project Management principles.
• APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification highly desired.
• Solid Hydraulic Mining Shovels product and manufacturing knowledge or experience.
• Capable of working and communicating with a variety of company (all levels) and supplier personnel.​​​​​​​
