Communication Coordinator
As a Communication Coordinator at Caterpillar Indonesia Batam, you will create employee communications content; and participate in the execution of employee communications programs within the Caterpillar Indonesia Batam facility.
What will you do:
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and advising on the suitability of approaches for communication efforts.
- Tracking and analyzing metrics to measure the effectiveness of internal communications.
- Assisting in the planning and creation of content for employee communication channels; ensuring that messaging and branding are consistent across all channels.
- Developing and distributing communications materials, such as written communications, presentation materials, etc. to deliver key messages.
The successful candidate must bring:
- Good proficiency in English.
- Experience in internal communication.
- Experience in social media and visual communication design.
- Skill in planning and organizing, copywriting and editing, internal communications, multimedia technologies, communicating for impact, interpersonal relationships, decision-making and critical thinking, and effectiveness measurement.

Quality Supervisor (NDT)
As Quality Supervisor, you will:
- Perform Quality Management and Operation in a safe manner.
- Involve and manage standards for quality management systems, quality planning, and strategy, control plans, including documentation requirements, traceability, audit procedures, and process control requirements.
- Proactively providing inputs into the production control plan. These inputs include risk data from the Design and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) as well as warranty information, previous inspection data, and historical data from similar processes and products. Responsible for identifying key product risks that need to be managed through the deployment of a control plan or IPV (In-Process Validation) check.
- Lead and supervise Quality Team to achieve organization Goals, Team Member Developments, and Targets.
- Involved in creating, providing, and maintaining the quality gate checklist/inspection tools for the Inspector.
- Provide process coaching/training to the Inspector.
- Manage Process Non-Conformance, Value Streams BIQ (Built Quality) Programs, Analyze and evaluate Quality Gates Metrics (Defects per Unit), and Miss/Found/New data to identify where improvement opportunities may exist.
- involve defining process metrics and targets at the appropriate level and ensuring these metrics and targets support enterprise metrics and targets.
- Contribute to analyzing the Quality Gate data and field performance and make decisions and assign action items related to improvement of the effectiveness of the quality management system and their processes, improvement of the product related to customer requirements, and resource needs.
The successful candidate must bring:
- Proficient in the English language.
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical design/manufacture.
- Minimum of 5 (five) years of working experience in welding quality inspection.
Top Candidate Will Also Have:
- QC (Quality Control) related certifications (NDT (Nondestructive Testing), CSWIP, SSPC, GDNT, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), QMS, 6 Sigma, CQA, CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), etc.) would be advantages.
- Used to operate SAP and QM (Quality Management) is preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Good analysis, diagnostic, and judgment skills, and good computer skills.
- Good interpersonal skills are essential to developing a cooperative working relationship with others, both inside and outside the organization.
