Description
A Supervisor of a Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the plant to treat wastewater and meet environmental regulations. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes.
Requirements

Bachelor degree in Environment Engineering or Chemical Engineering

Minimum 4 years of experience as a Supervisor or Coordinator in an industrial wastewater treatment facility

Proven track record of successfully managing the operations and maintenance of an IPAL, with a strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and technologies

Thorough knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements related to industrial wastewater discharge

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

Effective communication and stakeholder management skills

Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in environmental engineering or a related field (POPAL & PPPA)
