- Strong understanding of microcontroller architecture and programming 

- Writing well-documented, reusable code in C++, C#, or other languages as necessary

- Implementing communication protocols such as I2C, SPI,  USB etc

- Writing code to control hardware peripherals such as sensors, motors, and displays

- Testing and debugging software and hardware

- Willing to learn other programming software such as Touch Designer
